Yuliana Bedolla Guzmán is a marine biologist with a MSc in Coastal Oceanography and a PhD Candidate. Her PhD research focused on the breeding biology and foraging ecology of storm-petrels on the San Benito Archipelago, in the Mexican Pacific. She joined Grupo de Ecología y Conservación de Islas, A.C. (GECI) in 2009, and now leads the Seabird Restoration Program on Mexican Islands that restores and conserves seabirds using social attraction systems in combination with systematic monitoring, research, and environmental education. Yuliana has collaborated with diverse environmental restoration projects related to invasive rodent eradications to benefit seabird populations. Her activities in GECI include project planning, personnel coordination and supervision, applied research and monitoring, environmental education, as well as, sharing of information at conferences and with scientific reports and publications.

Alicia Aztorga Ornelas has a degree in Biology from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, Mexico, where she collaborated in molecular and genetics projects and in the Histology Lab. She began working for Grupo de Ecología y Conservación de Islas, A.C. in 2014 as part of environmental restoration projects on the San Benito Archipelago and Guadalupe Island. Currently, she collaborates on the Seabird Restoration Program on Mexican Islands implementing social attraction techniques, monitoring seabird populations, and native and exotic flora and fauna, as well as, carrying out environmental learning activities with local communities. 

Alejandro Aguilar Vargas studied Biology at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, Mexico. He has collaborated in aquaculture projects in different scientific research centers in Mexico and he did an internship in a Wildlife Center in Florida. He works for the Grupo de Ecología y Conservación de Islas, A.C. on the Seabird Restoration Program on Mexican Islands since 2015. Also, he supports island restoration programs in the Gulf of California and the Caribbean Sea. His activities include fauna and flora monitoring, habitat restoration, implementation of social attraction techniques, and environmental learning activities.
