Silvestre Montesinos was born in Chiapas, Mexico. He studied oceanography at the Autonomus University of Baja California in Ensenada where he received his B.Sc. degree in oceanography. He has assisted oceanographic sampling water projects throughout Todos Santos Bay, Mexico and served as a field technician in the UCSC project Insectivorous Bat Pollinates in the Loreto, BC area. He began working for Grupo de Ecología y Conservación de Islas, A.C. (GECI)  since 2012 and in this capacity he is a field biologist for Seabird Restoration Project in the Pacific Islands of Baja California. 

Alejandra Fabila of Ensendada, Mexico, earned her Master of Science degree in Systematics and Biodiversity from Instituto de Ecología A.C. Her thesis research was with the phylogeography and historical distribution of the Black-headed Nightingale-thrush, in Mexico´s cloud forests. She has worked for Grupo de Ecología y Conservación de Islas, A.C. (GECI) since 2013 where she is a biologist with the Seabird Restoration Project in the Pacific Islands of Baja California. Her work with the Project involves  monitoring seabird populations, managing invasive vegetation, exotic mammal eradication and environmental education. 

Facundo Franken of Oranjestad, Aruba graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Tropical Agriculture at the Internationale Agrarische Hogeschool Larenstein, The Netherlands. As the head of the Nature Management Section at the Aruba Department of Agriculture, Husbandry and Fisheries, he has assisted in the Aruba Tern Project, advocating for their protection by writing letters and press releases and gathering volunteers for field studies that counted tern nests, eggs and chicks. He has conducted telemetry fieldwork for the Aruba Boa Project and attended several Caribbean Plant Health Directors forums. He presently works in the Aruba Seabird Recovery Program where he monitors tern populations.
